MARK SMOLIN'S DREAM SUBMISSIONS
(page two)
Where is the sword?
-I was driving along I25 somewhere around Arapahoe with my mom (it was sunny). We stopped at some building and went upstairs (escalator I think). We went into some office and went to the counter. It was set up like the bank. I think we either had ski tickets or had just bought some. My mom was really mad (at me) about something and was returning them. I was staying completely calm about it because the 2 girls behind the counter were really hot. The one we were talking with was a brunette. Both seemed to be a little older than me. As we left the office I could hear one say to the other, "Isn't he cute?" and "I think he changed his hair."
-I was with David and there were some other people. I think there were a couple of girls and one was Chantelle. I was talking to David about the top of the spine and wondered if it was a bad idea to talk about it with other people around. I asked about the positioning of the tongue. He said there was more to it than that. I had to make air pockets on the sides of my mouth and move air in a specific way by saying a sound as well.
-I was playing a video game and fighting some boss character. I was confused by the controls for changing weapons. I might have died or rewound time, because I was trying for the 2nd time. He was on a horse and I knew he wasn't the last time, so I realized I had to eliminate that advantage. I shot a few arrows at the horse and took it out. Then the guy came at me and I had a few more arrows that I shot dead into his chest. He was really strong and kept coming. I was scrolling through the inventory trying to find my sword as he was approaching, but I couldn't find it.
-I hid in a little tunnel area and knew that I somehow had gotten my enemy's sword. I looked out of the tunnel and saw an arena (sunny) where the guy was driving around a car that looked like my grandma's. I think some lady had joined him. It was less a video game now, and more real, even though I still had to scroll through my inventory. For some reason it was almost empty. When I looked for his sword, all I found was a pen, and I thought I wouldn't be able to do much damage with that. I remembered how the first time around I had the arrows, some explosives, and even tires, but not anymore. Any of those would help since I had weakened him so much. The tunnel sloped down the farther in it went. I looked up toward the exit. I noticed my tuning fork on the other side of a gap in the ground and thought I should pick it up, even though I didn't know what good it would do.
