These are the pictures that sum up the long story you just read to get here!

I apologize for the fact that there are no bikes on the roof in the pictures, nor any of Jeff getting them down.  Needless to say, I was a little shaken up when it happened.  On one hand, just like when Jeff was arrested in D.C. last month, I really wanted to pull out the camera for the footage . . . and on the other hand, I just thought it was a really bad idea -- this time mostly because I was the one that had destroyed the bank, & thought it would be a little ridiculous of me to pull out a camera in front of the cops and bank manager.  Besides, I was too busy staring at Jeff while he carefully removed the bikes, because I was so insanely worried that he would get hurt by the hanging lights or wires, & I couldn't believe the bank manager was telling him he should do it.  Truthfully, NONE of us knew what to do or who to call in that situation.  So, yeah, the pics would have been way more hilarious or even a little more informative had they included the time before the bike removal, but we just got what we could.  I'm still planning to go back & take pictures of the fact that there is NO clearance sign.  We'd have taken them that day, but we weren't in the mindset of feeling the need to cover our asses or anything.  I just think it wouldn't hurt to have the picture . . . when my insurance company hears what I did . . . ooooooh!

See, I told you I had gotten pretty close to the ATM! (It was easy to get the money out, though, because you must realize the van part up front is much narrower than what you are seeing with this back area.)   So, um, I had bought us each a new bike for this adventure, only costing between $130-$140 each, and I essentially destroyed them.
